Skier Profile - Darryl Hoyle- MP3 Division
Darryl was born with a deformity of the legs and feet. Although mobile to some degree he still needs the assistance of a wheel chair for many activities. He started water skiing in January 2001 and within a very short time was selected in the Australian Team to compete in the 2001 World Championships held at Melton, Victoria where he won a bronze medal in jump and 5th overall. At the 2005 Worlds in Belgium he won gold in jump. Darryl was the Assistant Coach of the Australian Team at the Worlds in Townsville in 2007. He also managed to break a long standing World Record in the Jump event.
